The Santa Barbara County Fire Department tweeted this morning about an accident in Goleta that caused a minor vehicle fire.
Public Information officer Daniel Bertucelli says that at 9:25 a.m. two engines and a battalion chief responded to calls about the involving a white SUV.
Firefighters encountered the vehicle which collided into an Oak tree at the Storke Road offramp at Highway 101. The offramp is currently closed.

Bertucelli says two occupants in the SUV were able self-extract themselves from the vehicle. One occupant was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and the other occupant was non-injured.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the vehicle fire.
Bertucelli says the department is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
