One person was injured when a fire broke out in an RV in the Arroyo Grande area Friday morning.
CAL FIRE SLO was on scene of the fire along the 1100 block of Royal Oak Place off of Highway 227 as of 8:50 a.m. and said the flames were threatening a nearby home.
The fire was knocked down less than 10 minutes later.
Firefighters expected to remain on scene throughout the morning for mop up.
The extent of injuries to the resident was not immediately known.
Royal Oak Place is closed between Highway 227 and Corbett Canyon Road due to the fire.
