Fire crews contained a commercial truck fire in a Goleta US Post Office on Sunday.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department’s Public Information Officer Dave Zaniboni said they got a report of the fire at 8:31 a.m. at 400 Stroke Road. When fire crews arrived, they saw that a semi-trailer was on fire and spreading to two semi-trailers parked next to it.
The fire was mainly contained to the semi-trailer that started the fire, but the two vehicles parked next to it were damaged.
Zaniboni said the vehicle fire is under control. He said crews will remain at the scene, mopping up remaining parts of the fire.
He said the cause of the fire is unknown, an investigator is working on the case.
Smoke from the fire can be seen across Goleta.
