Firefighters responded to a garbage truck fire in Morro Bay Tuesday.
The Morro Bay Fire Department first tweeted about the fire around 2:30 p.m.
It broke out at the corner of Tahiti Street and Tide Avenue in Morro Bay.

Morro Bay firefighters and CAL FIRE responded to the scene.
As of 3 p.m. Tuesday, the streets were expected to be blocked off for about one hour.
Firefighters said they were making great progress mopping up.
Photos from the scene show a large pile of debris that caught fire.
