Lompoc Assistant City Manager to leave position for Central Valley job

The Lompoc Assistant City Manager will be leaving her role within the city next week for another position in the Central Valley.

Teresa Gallavan has served in the Assistant City Manager position for more than seven years, helping out with budget planning in the area and aiding the boost in the local economy for Lompoc.

“I am thankful to have been a part of the City of Lompoc’s progress these past seven years. There are so many talented and caring people in the community, and I know they will continue to do good things for the betterment of Lompoc,” Gallavan said.

Gallavan has accepted a role as the City Manager of Selma, located in the Central Valley of California just south of Fresno.

Gallavan’s last day working for the city of Lompoc will be Wednesday, Oct. 10.
